Values

At Pink Potion Society, we believe every girl deserves the opportunity to explore, create, and succeed in STEM while staying true to who she is.

Our values are rooted in belonging, accessibility, confidence, creativity, representation, and service. We believe STEM becomes stronger when more girls are able to see themselves reflected in it—and when they are encouraged to bring their whole selves with them.

Belonging
Every girl deserves to know that there is a place for her in STEM. There is no single personality, style, background, or “look” that defines who belongs in science, technology, engineering, and math. We want girls to understand that they do not have to change who they are to fit into STEM.

Accessibility
STEM opportunities should not depend on a family’s income, location, or access to expensive programs. We are committed to providing free hands-on workshops, activities, and resources so more girls can experience STEM in meaningful and exciting ways.

Confidence
We believe confidence grows through experience. When girls are given opportunities to build, experiment, solve problems, make mistakes, and try again, they begin to see themselves as capable creators, thinkers, engineers, scientists, and innovators.

Representation
You cannot always imagine yourself in a space where you never see anyone who feels like you. Pink Potion Society intentionally creates STEM experiences that feel welcoming to girls who may not see themselves represented in traditional STEM spaces—especially girls who love pink, glitter, fashion, creativity, femininity, and everything in between.

Creativity
STEM is not only about finding the right answer. It is about curiosity, imagination, innovation, and discovering new ways to solve problems. We celebrate the unique ideas and perspectives every girl brings to the table.

Authenticity
Girls should never feel that they must choose between being feminine and being interested in STEM. Loving bows and robotics, makeup and mathematics, glitter and engineering, or fashion and coding are not contradictions. Girls deserve the freedom to explore STEM without giving up the things that make them feel most like themselves.

Service
Our work is rooted in giving back. We believe access to STEM can change the way a girl sees herself and what she believes is possible for her future. By providing free resources and experiences, we hope to create a ripple effect—reaching one girl at a time and encouraging her to someday open that same door for someone else.
