Pink Potion Society began with a simple idea: girls should never have to choose between being feminine and being brilliant.
On the birthday of Girl Scouts, our president and founder Brooklynn A. Warner received the exciting news that her proposal for her Girl Scout Gold Award had officially been approved. What started as a Gold Award project quickly grew into something much bigger: a vision for a movement that would change the way girls see themselves in STEM and the way society sees girls in STEM.

Brooklynn created Pink Potion Society to encourage girls to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while embracing every part of who they are.
Pink Potion Society was founded on the belief that being girly and being smart are not mutually exclusive. A girl can love pink, express her femininity, and still dream of becoming a scientist, engineer, programmer, astronaut, or inventor.
Through free, hands-on STEM experiences, educational resources, mentorship, and community programs, Pink Potion Society was created to make STEM more accessible, exciting, and empowering for girls.

Brooklynn's vision has always extended beyond her own community. Pink Potion Society was created with the hope of developing a model that can inspire girls and communities across Louisiana, the country, and eventually the world.
The original vision included:
🩷 Free hands-on STEM workshops for girls in the community
🔬 Free online STEM lessons and activities that can be completed at home
📚 Free educational resources for girls, families, and educators
👩🔬 Girl Scout STEM opportunities, including a Pink Potion Society fun patch program
✨ STEM expos and special events designed to show girls that STEM can be creative, exciting, and fun
What began as one girl's Gold Award project has grown into a mission to create lasting opportunities for girls to discover their interests, build confidence, and imagine themselves in STEM careers.

Pink Potion Society gets its name from the idea that STEM can be both powerful and playful. The color pink represents individuality, confidence, and the freedom to embrace who you are, while the "potion" represents curiosity, experimentation, discovery, and a little bit of magic.
Our goal is not simply to introduce girls to STEM. It's to help them see themselves as belonging in it.
We want every girl who participates in Pink Potion Society to walk away knowing that her curiosity matters, her ideas matter, and there is a place for her in STEM.

Pink Potion Society continues to grow from the vision Brooklynn started with her Gold Award, fueled by a belief that the next generation of innovators should have every opportunity to succeed.
We’re creating a community where girls can dream big, get curious, embrace their individuality, and pursue STEM with confidence.
Because there is no one way to be a scientist.
There is no one way to be an engineer.
And there is certainly no one way to be a girl in STEM.
You can be brilliant. You can be bold. You can be unapologetically you.
And yes, you can do it all in pink. 🩷🔬
