Every number represents a step toward our mission of making STEM education more accessible, inspiring young innovators, and showing children that they belong in STEM.
Represents the number of children reached through our workshops, outreach events, educational resources, and community efforts. Each child represents another future creator, scientist, engineer, and innovator inspired by STEM. This number also includes the impact estimated by the classroom books that have been ordered. This number includes the estimate of the average class size of 30 students with a shelf life of 3 years per book that was ordered for a classroom. We also used an estimate of 15 girls with a shelf life of 2 years per troop that orders. (We can only use the estimates that we are told are being used in a classroom or community organization, otherwise we assume each book sold impacts 1 child).
Books Sold
Represents the number of copies of The Pink Astronaut shared with readers. Each book helps spread the message that curiosity, creativity, and STEM are for everyone.
Volunteer Hours
Represents the time and dedication given by volunteers who help plan, prepare, teach, and support Pink Potion Society events and initiatives through various hands on workshops, website development, book writing, curriculum writing, outreach initiatives, planning and community programming.
Hands-On Workshop Learning Hours
Represents the total amount of time girls have spent actively participating in registered Pink Potion Society STEM workshops. These hours include structured, hands-on learning experiences such as experiments, engineering challenges, problem-solving activities, collaborative projects, and interactive STEM exploration.
Workshop Hours reflect only events that required advance registration and were designed as dedicated STEM learning experiences. They do not include community outreach appearances, vendor events, festivals, expos, or other public engagement activities.
These hours represent meaningful time spent building confidence, strengthening critical-thinking skills, exploring new interests, and helping girls see themselves as capable creators, innovators, and future leaders in STEM.
